The semester is almost over! Once your finals are done, we hope you can make time to relax and enjoy your break. If you’re looking for ways to do something that is fun, learn new skills or work on some personal projects, there are a few online websites that can help you make that happen.
As a CU Boulder student, you have a variety of resources available by simply logging in with your IdentiKey. We’ve also included several other websites that offer free courses or a free trial when you create an account. Here are a few websites to browse no matter what sparks your interest.
LinkedIn Learning: With your CU IdentiKey, you have access to a wide range of classes. You can learn to manage your finances or how to achieve your goals. No matter what you’re looking for, there is bound to be a class for you. We recommend
Coursera gives you the opportunity to learn about things that spark your interest. You can even find courses in different languages. Try
edX is a global non-profit that offers free courses from top universities around the world. Check out these classes if you want to learn about a topic you may not have otherwise known about, like
Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) OpenCourseware: If you want to learn more about a specific field, especially in math or science, you can check out courses from MIT. Here are some you can try:
Udemy: With a subscription, you can access many different courses on topics such as music, self-appreciation and more. Udemy offers a free 7-day trial. Here are a few to check out:
Skill Share has classes that can fuel your interests and your passions. With a subscription, you can access a variety of courses. Skillshare offers a free 7-day trial. Check it out, especially if you’re looking to improve your skill level. Consider

YouTube: The most well-known video site has videos about almost anything. You don’t need to have an account; just search a topic you want to learn about and you’re set to go. Here are some to check out:
Remember, you don’t have to learn something new every day, but if you’ve been meaning to get back into piano lessons, start your blog or learn computer science, now is your chance. Do something that sounds fun to you and enjoy your break!
