From kickboxing to Zumba to yoga, University Recreation is offering free fitness classes to UREC members throughout the summer.
UREC opted to offer free summer classes as a way of promoting memberships for the Student Recreation Center and Chinook Student Center, Joanna Greene, director of programing, said. The hope is that members who participate in summer classes will find a class they enjoy and continue into the fall.
For a full list of fitness classes, visit UREC’s website. Those looking to participate in Session 1 classes must register by May 28, while Session 2 registration opens June 6.
Students enrolled in a least one credit on the Pullman campus automatically receive membership access.
Those that paid a fitness classes’ fee prior to UREC announcing free summer classes can get a full refund or a free fall fitness class by indicating their preference via an online survey.
