Online platforms launch free courses on workplace emotional wellness and mental well-being – Education Times

Online courses including ‘Workplace Emotional Intelligence (EI): How to Be Emotionally Intelligent,’ ‘Getting Stay Interviews Right,’ and ‘Time & Productivity Management Techniques’ could arm professionals with market-requisite soft skills for accelerating the workforce efficiency and output.

YourDOST, an emotional wellness platform, and upGrad have launched free courses for professionals to foster emotional and mental well-being. The course content is drawn from market research and courses are designed to promote agility and help organisations come up with better employee engagement and retention plans.

Mental well-being had a stigma around it as people were reluctant to address this critical issue. It is still one of the most pressing issues and as per reports, one in six people faces common mental health problems including anxiety and depression.

These virtual courses are aimed at working professionals to enable them to handle various concerns in a self-paced manner. The course topics and modules will help them manage day-to-day work-related issues ranging from handling emotional concerns to managing time, which has been a critical challenge for fresh professionals.
