The rules related to debit and credit cards are being changed from October 1. The card-on-file tokenization rule is going to change from October 1. In this regard, the Reserve Bank of India said that after the change in the tokenization system, card holders will get a new experience in making payments. Let us tell you that till now when you make payment by debit or credit card, your card information is saved on the respective website. In view of the increasing cases of online fraud, now the government is changing the rules. So that the incidents of fraud can be prevented. In this, a token will be generated during the transaction and payment can be done from it. With this, it will be more secure to do transactions with debit and credit cards than before. After the implementation of the system of payment by token instead of card, the cases of fraud will come down.
2 – Changes in the rules of mutual funds
Those investing in mutual funds on or after October 1, will be required to provide nomination details. At the same time, investors who do not do so will have to fill a declaration. Nomination facility will have to be declared in the declaration. Earlier this rule was to be implemented from August 1, 2022, however this could not happen and this deadline was extended till October 1, 2022. Now it will be implemented from next month. If you invest in mutual funds, keep this in mind.
3- Subsidy will stop
According to media reports, now the rule has changed to take advantage of free electricity facility in the capital Delhi. The subsidy given by the Delhi government on the electricity bill will be stopped after September 31. Now only the consumers who have applied for the subsidy will get its benefit. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had recently announced this new rule.
4- This new plan is going to be implemented
Graded Response Action Plan will be implemented in Delhi NCR from October 1 to fight against air pollution. It is noteworthy that air pollution in Delhi-NCR reaches alarming levels during winters. Under the Graded Response Action Plan, all those actions which are helpful in increasing pollution are banned. In such a situation, from the generators spreading smoke to the vehicles etc., it will have an effect on everyone. With the onset of winter, the problem of pollution in Delhi-NCR increases.
5 – Changes in Atal Pension Yojana
The government has changed the rules of its popular scheme Atal Pension Yojana. Taxpayers will no longer be able to take advantage of this. That is, if you come under the purview of income tax, then you cannot take advantage of this scheme. Earlier, no such condition was applicable for joining this popular pension scheme of the central government. But the government has said in a notification that after October 1, 2022, no taxpayer will be eligible to join the Atal Pension Yojana. If a subscriber is found to be a taxpayer on or before this date, his Atal Pension Yojana account will be closed and his pension deposited till that day will be refunded.
6 – Interest on Small Savings Schemes
There is to be a review of interest rates on Small Savings Scheme on 30 September. The interest on small savings schemes is reviewed by the government every three months. During this review, a decision is taken whether to increase, decrease or keep the interest rate constant. These interest rates are decided by the Ministry of Finance. This review is to be held for the quarter October to December 2022. Small savings schemes include Public Provident Fund (PPF), Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana, Senior Citizens Savings Scheme (SCSS), National Savings Certificates (NSC). These schemes are called Post Office Schemes i.e. Post Office Schemes. Government bond yields are picking up and it is believed that interest rates on small savings schemes may be hiked.
7 – Volkswagen cars will become expensive
Auto company Volkswagen’s cars are going to be expensive from October 1. The company had recently said that due to rising raw material prices, it has decided to increase the prices of all its vehicles by 2% from October 1. Volkswagen currently sells four models in India. These include two sedans and two SUV cars. The company is working on plans to launch three more models in the country in the coming days. Mahindra has also recently increased the prices of some of its cars.
8 –There will be change in the rules of demat account
Demat account is now more secure than before. The National Stock Exchange (NSE) has issued a notification on June 14 stating that it is necessary to enable two-factor authentication in demat accounts by September 30. Without this, users will not be able to login to the demat account from October 1. Now to login to the account, one has to first enter the biometric authentication and then the password. With this, cases of fraud related to demat account will be stopped.
9 – The timing of these trains will change
In the trains which have been changed by the Indian Railways, 12412 Amritsar – Chandigarh Intercity will now leave at 17:05, 15 minutes before the station instead of 17:20. Train No. 22918 Haridwar – Bandra Terminus Express will now depart 10 minutes before 17:20 at 17:20 instead of 17:30. Train number 12912 Haridwar – Valsad Express will now depart at 17:20 instead of 17:30. Train No. 12172 HWL LTT EXPRESS will leave at 17:20 instead of 17:30. Train No. 15002 Dehradun – Muzaffarpur Express will depart at 15:15 instead of 15:20. Train No. 15006 Dehradun – Gorakhpur Express will depart at 15:15 instead of 15:20. Train No. 12018 Dehradun – New Delhi Shatabdi Express will now depart at 16:55 hrs. Train No. 12402 Dehradun – Kota Nanda Devi Express will depart at 22:45 instead of 22:50. Train No. 04339 Bulandshahr – Tilak Bridge Shuttle will now depart at 05:35 instead of 05:40. Train No. 04356 Balamau – Lucknow Express will now run at 08:35 instead of 08:40. On the other hand, 04327 Sitapur City – Kanpur Central Special will run 20 minutes prior to 11:00 at 10:40.
10 – 5G service will be launched
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch the much-awaited 5G services in India on October 1, 2022. This information was given in an official statement on Friday. According to this statement, the Prime Minister will launch 5G services in select cities. After this, 5G service will be expanded across the country in the next few years.
