IOCL Recruitment 2022: Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) is known as the largest commercial enterprise in India and a Fortune “Global
500” Company, as a measure of Skill Building Initiative for the Nation. IOCL proposes to engage 465 Apprentices in Technical and Non-Technical trades at their 5 regions’ Western Region Pipelines (WRPL), Northern Region Pipelines (NRPL), Eastern Region Pipelines (ERPL), Southern Region Pipelines (SRPL), South Eastern Region Pipelines (SERPL). The minimum age limit to apply for the post is 18 years and the maximum is 24 years as of 10th November 2022.
Eligible candidates meeting the required qualification and other parameters can apply online through the official website of IOCL. Candidates will be selected on the basis of marks scored in the test. The written test will be held tentatively on 18th December 2022. The candidate has to bring all original certificates/testimonials/ mark sheets along with a passport-size photograph and self-attested copies of certificates/mark sheets for checking at the time of document verification.
The last date for submitting the online application form is 30th November 2022. No applications will be accepted after the stipulated date. Incomplete/False applications will be REJECTED.

Tenure- Technician Apprentice(Elec/Mech/T&I)- 1 year.
Trade Apprentices (Assistant HR/Accountant)- 1 year.
Data Entry Operator and Domestic Data Entry Operator- 15 months.
Stipend- Candidates will be stipend monthly as prescribed under the Apprentices Act, 1961/1973/ Apprentices Rules 1992 (as amended) and Corporation‟s guidelines.
Technician Apprentice Mechanical- Three years (or two years through lateral entry after ITI of minimum one-year duration/10+2) full-time Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Automobile Engineering.
Technician Apprentice Electrical- Three years (or two years through lateral entry after ITI of minimum one-year duration/10+2) full-time Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
Technician ApprenticeTelecommunication and Instrumentation- Three years (or two years through lateral entry after ITI of minimum one-year duration/10+2) full-time Diploma in Electronics & Communication Engineering/Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering/Electronics & Radio Communication Engineering/Instrumentation & Control Engineering/Instrumentation & Process Control Engineering/Electronics Engineering from a Government recognized Institute.
Trade Apprentice (Assistant Human Resources)- Full-Time Bachelor’s degree (Graduation) from a Government recognized institute/University.
Trade Apprentice (Accountant)- Full-Time Bachelor’s degree (Graduation) in Commerce from a Government recognized institute/University.
Data Entry Operator(Fresher Apprentices)- Minimum 12th pass (but below graduate).
Domestic Data Entry Operator(Skill Certificate Holders)- Minimum 12th pass (but below Graduate).
Additionally, candidates should possess a Skill Certificate of „Domestic Data Entry Operator‟ for the training of less than one year issued by an awarding body recognized under the National Skill Qualifications Framework or any other authority recognized by the Central Government.

Selection is based on the marks scored in the written test.
i. The written Test shall be of Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs ‟s) consisting of 4 options with one correct option. The candidate has to choose the correct option. There shall be 100 questions in the Written Test and the Total marks shall be 100. Each correct answer shall carry 1 mark.
ii. The duration of the Written Test shall be of 120 minutes i.e. two hours.
The final selection for engagement of apprentices will be based on Written Test marks as per merit. Trade-wise & State-wise merit lists for each Region shall be prepared based on Written Test marks scored by the candidates, which shall be arranged in descending order. Candidates, in the order of merit, will be offered the apprenticeship.
Note- Candidates without Admit Card and proof of ID as stated herewith will not be allowed to take the Written Test.
