Over the last few days, the internet has been ablaze with Black Friday deals. From video games to hardware and even subscription services, South Africans can finally experience some of the annual savings Americans have enjoyed for years.
But while many of the savings have been in the realm of entertainment, some of the best savings are more practical in nature. Running from now until the 25th of November, the top-rated learning platform Udemy is running ridiculous discounts on its courses, with offerings from only R150.
This is particularly great for those who have had their eye on some courses but have yet to be able to justify the cost, as is often the case with passion projects. For me, one of the areas of study I’ve been eying for a while now has been Game Development, but I’ve never been able to convince myself to take the plunge.
However, with many of their game development and game design courses being marked down from R2000 to only R150, it’s almost impossible to resist the urge. If, like me, you’re looking to jump into a new field of study in and around the gaming realm, then here are some of the best courses I’ve found:
