First Congregational Church of Stockbridge will hold its annual Holly Fair on Saturday, Dec. 4. The Fair features baked goods, crafts, gifts, and Grandma’s Attic. All proceeds go to charity.
PITTSFIELD — This year’s Small Business Saturday in downtown Pittsfield (Saturday, Nov. 27) includes live music, a makers market and treasure hunt, a surprise visit from Santa, the MountainOne Free Thankful 5K, NUarts Studios & Gallery’s Shop Local event, special deals throughout downtown, and more. New this year, download the Downtown Pittsfield app to view a directory and map of locations downtown to shop small.
The Thankful 5K will be held in downtown Pittsfield on Saturday at 9 a.m. The event is free; however, participants (and spectators) are encouraged to purchase a $25 Thankful Hat with their registration. All proceeds will be donated to Pittsfield Food Pantries. Thankful Hats can be purchased from the Berkshire Running Center at 34 Depot St. or on their website. (You do not have to enter or attend the race to purchase a hat.) MountainOne will donate an additional $5 for every hat sold. Downtown Businesses will be offering special deals to those wearing their Thankful Hats on Small Business Saturday including 101 Restaurant & Bar, Dottie’s Coffee Lounge, Hot Harry’s, The Spot, the Marketplace Café, and Thrive Diner.
The Midnight Anthem will perform live in the parklet outside of the Marketplace Cafe at 53 North St., from 9:30–11:30 a.m. NUarts Studios & Gallery, 311 North St., will open its studio and #ArtistsSunday (Sunday, Nov. 28), from 11 a.m.–3 p.m. View and purchase artworks in all sizes and styles, including paintings, works on commission, ceramics, jewelry, metalworks, found object and nature-based sculptures, fountain pens, music, and other unique gifts.
Join the Berkshires’ best makers, bakers, curators, and creators to get a head start on your holiday shopping at the CozQuest Pop-up Makers Market, from 10 a.m.– 3 p.m., at Hotel on North, 297 North St.
Be one of the first 60 people to start the CozQuest Countywide Holiday Treasure Hunt at Hotel on North on the 27th and get a great gift from Blue Q. The hunt begins on Small Business Saturday and runs through December 31.
Berkshire Yoga Dance & Fitness, 55 North St., will host a Grand Reopening Open House from 9 a.m.–5 p.m. View the studio, meet the instructors, and try out free sample classes all day long. Pre-registration is required for all classes. Sign up at bydf.punchpass.com.
Also on Saturday, a free Thankful StoryWalk® and craft event will be held at the Berkshire Athenaeum, 1 Wendell Ave., from 10 a.m.–2 p.m. Radiance Yoga will host Yoga Under the Moon at the Berkshire Museum, 39 South Street, from 8:30–9:30 am. Starting at 10 a.m., there will be a Small Business Saturday Brunch at Mission Gastropub, 438 North St. A Holiday Craft Fair at BBE Office Interiors, 1595 East St., with over a dozen local vendors, will run from 9 a.m. –2 p.m.

Clark Art Institute offers free admission December 5
WILLIAMSTOWN —The Clark Art Institute’s popular First Sundays Free program continues on Sunday, Dec. 5. Admission to the galleries is free to all visitors for the entire day, but advance registration is strongly recommended.
Visitors are invited to explore the Clark, indoors and outdoors, with a special self-guide available at the Admissions desk. Stop by the Conforti Pavilion to make giftable keepsakes to brighten up your home or someone else’s.
Indoors, explore 20th-century printmaking movements through a wide selection of works from the Clark’s collection of Japanese prints in “Competing Currents: 20th-Century Japanese Prints,” on view in the Eugene V. Thaw Gallery for Works on Paper through January 30, 2022. Visit “Erin Shirreff: Remainders,” on view in the Manton Research Center and the lower level of the Clark Center, through January 2, 2022.
Outdoors, walk the trails to see “Anne Thompson: Trail Signs,” a rotating installation using the existing infrastructure of trail kiosks on and around the museum campus, on view through December 31. Every two weeks for the duration of the project, the artist will install new sets of posters onto the blank surfaces of seven freestanding wood structures, for a total of 48 unique prints. At 2:30 p.m., join Thompson and exhibition curator Robert Wiesenberger for a walk through her outdoor exhibition, culminating with a campfire and treats on Stone Hill. The event is free but registration is required.

Becket Arts Center to host two holiday-decoration classes
BECKET — The Becket Arts Center will offer holiday-decoration classes by wreath-maker Edie King on Sunday, Dec. 5. She will conduct two classes at the Washington Town Hall, at 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Attendees should bring clippers, their favorite decorations, and the holiday spirit. The cost is $20.
