CBSE Class 10 Term 2 Exam 2022: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) term 2 Class 10 Science paper concluded today, May 10, 2022. The CBSE term 2 Science exam 2022 for Class 10 had two hours duration and it was held between 10:30 am and 12:30 pm. The paper carried 40 marks. The Food Production, Office Procedures papers were held from 10:30 AM to 12 PM, while the Design paper was held from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM. CBSE, CISCE Term 2 Exams 2022 Live Updates

Both the CBSE Class 10, 12 exams were held following the COVID-19 guidelines. The students had to carry a face mask, hand sanitisers at the exam centre and follow the mandatory COVID-19 social distancing guidelines. Students had to write their UID (Unique Identification Number), Index Number and Subject on the top-sheet of the answer booklets. All entries on the answer booklet are to be made with black, or blue ballpoint pen only.
According to Seema Behl, Principal, Brain International School, "The Class 10 Science paper was balanced and NCERT based. The students reviewed the 10th Science paper as easy with few questions were found to be tricky."
CBSE 10th exam 2022: The students are instructed to appear for the CBSE Class 10, 12 exams before 10 am. The Class 10, 12 term 2 exams have been scheduled to start from 10:30 am.
CISCE ISC Semester 2 exam 2022: Meanwhile, the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) will conduct the Indian School Certificate (ISC), or Class 12, semester 2, History exam tomorrow, May 11, 2022.
Meanwhile, the Karnataka 2nd PUC Physics Exam was conducted today. While talking about the paper analysis, Milind Chippalakatti, Head – Knowledge Management, Deeksha said, "The Physics paper was moderately easy. Most of the questions were easy and a few questions under the 2-3 marks section were a little tricky. An average student can score around 25-30 marks out of 70 marks. There were no out of syllabus questions. Over the last few years the level of the paper has remained the same but the framing/wording of the questions are gradually getting more in sync with the NCERT pattern. There were no mistakes in the question paper. There is a slight change in the question paper pattern in terms of more choice given in the paper, otherwise it was the same compared to the previous year's paper."

CBSE Term 2 Exam: The answer key of Class 10 Science will likely be made available by the board after the end of the CBSE term 2 exam.
The passing marks out of 40 in CBSE Class 10 term 2 Science exam is 13.
Ms Sonali Saxena, Summer Fields School, Gurugram, said, "The science question paper of class 10, was an overall balanced paper. The paper was conceptually based so students should score well. The physics portion was suited to students who had prepared well. No part of the syllabus was left untouched by the board. The 2 markers were easy as internal choices were given. The 3 markers of physics were straightforward numerical applications of concepts with choices. The 4 marker question was a diagram-based activity from the NCERT book itself. The chemistry portion was well balanced and the difficulty level was moderate. Most of the 2 marker questions in chemistry were application-based. The 3 marker questions of chemistry were concept-based and were of moderate difficulty level. The biology portion was also well balanced. There was one slightly tricky 2 marker question from the chapter Our Environment."
Students are also asking "What if I fail in one subject in 10th boards 2022". Those students who fail in one of the subjects will have to appear in the compartment exams.
CBSE has removed several chapters from the History and Political Science syllabi of Classes 11 and 12, including the Non-Aligned Movement, the Cold War era, the rise of Islamic empires in Afro-Asian territories, the chronicles of Mughal courts and the industrial revolution. Deepika Sharma, HOD Science at Silverline Prestige School, Ghaziabad said, "The question paper consisted of 15 questions with internal choice as per board pattern.  Overall the students found the paper to be Average. Few questions were found to be tricky, but finally tracked at the last moment. Numerical part of the paper was very easy and direct. Overall students were satisfied with the paper and hope the next few papers would also be in quite easy so that they could score good marks."
Awadhesh Kumar Jha, Principal, Sarvodaya Co-ed Vidyalaya in Sector 8, Rohini, said, Level of Question paper is moderate. A few questions are easy but application based. Conventional questions are missing, not easy for average student."  
Shubhi Gautam, a student of Mount Abu Public School, Rohini said, "The paper was easy. Most questions were directly from NCERT. Numericals were also easy. It wasn't tricky as most questions had a direct answer. I have written all answers properly with all keywords." Check 10th Science Paper Pattern
Aashika Thakur a student of Geeta Bal Bharti School, Delhi said, "Today's science exam was easy. Who have prepared well for the exam will gain full marks nothing was out of the syllabus. All the sets of question paper was easy. Question paper contained straight forward questions and length of attempting the question was short. It was not lengthy."

Chinar Banga, Deputy Head, Senior Years, Shiv Nadar School, Faridabad said, “It was an easy to moderate level paper. We found that no question was out of syllabus. Exposure to this typology of questions was given in our practice test papers and assignments given throughout the year. 50% of the paper was application based and 35% was a test of understanding. Only 15% was recall based. It is a scoring and a balanced paper."

Earlier held as a single board exam, the board to consider the grievances faced during Covid, decided to hold the exams in two terms. The first term CBSE board exam was held on November-December 2021, while the next term exam for the CBSE Class 10, 12 students is being held now. However, while releasing the 2022-23 syllabus, the board has not bifurcated the syllabus, hinting that there wont be any two-term exam in the next academic session.

There were adequate internal choices given in each section which was a great relief for students. Section A and Section B were easy of maths standard paper. Section C of paper was little moderate. On other hand Basic paper of maths was easy. Overall, the paper can be said a moderate one."
