If you’ve thought about bringing your Thanksgiving sides game to the next level but weren’t sure how, celebrity chef Fabio Viviani is teaming up with Morongo Casino, Resort and Spa to offer a free online cooking course on Sunday, Nov. 14.
The chef plans to teach participants to cook several sides such as caramelized brussels sprouts with pork belly, almonds and chilies; hand-pressed baby potatoes with parmesan and spicy yogurt; Italian pecorino polenta; crispy Italian sausage stuffing; mascarpone and parmesan whipped butternut squash.
The cooking class begins at 6 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 14. Participants can register at morongocasinoresort.com.
Viviani has done the virtual cooking class monthly. Future sessions will take place in December and January, with enrollment opening 30-45 days before the scheduled session.
Viviani was a contestant of Bravo’s “Top Chef” and later another program, “Life After Top Chef.” He’s also published cookbooks such as “Fabio’s Italian Kitchen” and “Fabio’s American Home Kitchen.”
Next year, Morongo will open The Marketplace by Fabio Viviani, a new food hall buffet concept at the casino.
