Giving a big boost to transforming the lives of youth of Uttar Pradesh, the state government is making efforts to provide high quality education and employment to the youth through foreign universities.
With the help of online learning platform Coursera, the Vocational Education and Skill Development department is providing free education facilities to the youth through more than 200 universities around the world. The Skill Development department has started a free training programme for the youth through online digital learning platform Coursera. The certificate obtained after completing the course will be recognised all over the world.
Over 50,000 youth are being provided free education facilities through Coursera. This will help the youth of the state to get employment abroad. It will also enable the youth of the state to become industry worthy by getting training on international standards.
According to the Vocational Education and Skill Development department, after completion of the training, these youths will be provided a certificate by Coursera. The certificate received by the youth is recognised all over the world. This will give opportunities to the youth of the country to go abroad and get jobs.
According to the Skill Development department, through Coursera, youth can choose courses of their choice from more than 3,800 courses being run by reputed companies through more than 200 universities and institutes of the world. The youth will also be given certificates recognised by the institutions at the international level.
During the tenure of the Yogi Adityanath government, jobs have been given to more than 4.5 lakh youths in the state. The youth have been made self-reliant by linking them with self-employment. Now the government is working to provide employment opportunities abroad to the youth through the Skill Development department.
