As a native of Dimapur town and born to Jitendra Jaiswal (father) and Anita Jaiswal (mother), Subhansu Jaiswal, who secured the top position with 98.60% in HSSLC Commerce Stream of the recently declared NBSE could not be happier with the outcome as his dedication and persistence paid off finally on Tuesday afternoon.
“I followed only three rules,” he told The Morung Express on his main motto towards preparing for the board exam which included clarity, consistency and support from family and friends.
Further elaborating on this, he said that, “all the concepts were clear before the exam, I was consistent throughout the year and my teachers and friends guided me as well so their support and guidance was incomparable.”
As for whether or not the pandemic had affected his study routine and schedule prior to the commencement of the exams, he replied in the negative by admitting that, “it was fun for me as I had plenty of time to study and prepare for my exams.”
Discussing on future prospects and goals he said that his current plan is to sit for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) in order to get placed in a well-reputed institution to study his Bachelors of Commerce (Honours). “Then I’ll try to become a Chartered Accountant (CA) and if it goes well then maybe try further for Masters of Business Administration (MBA) as well,” he added.
“Be consistent and focus on the process rather than thinking about the results. Results are just the outcome, process is all that matters,” he recommended, to other students preparing for their exams in the coming years.
For extracurricular activities, he mentioned that he took online courses from Udemy on crypto, coding and stock trading in order “to up-skill myself. As these will be the future of the job market no matter which educational background you come from,” he stated.
