THOSE recently diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes are being offered the chance to attend a free course as to how best manage the condition.

Run by a local diabetes nurse from the East Cornwall Primary Care network in conjunction with Cornwall Council’s Healthy Cornwall initiative, the course is delivered over three 90-minute sessions (one each week) via Microsoft Teams.
The sessions will help you understand Type 2, what you can do to manage it, meet like-minded people and more.
The course start dates over the nextfew months are as follows: Wednesday, September 14 (midday to 2pm); Tuesday, October 4 (6pm to 8pm); Wednesday, November 16 (12pm to 2pm); and Tuesday, January 10.
