SOLIHULL children who get free school meals can take part in free yoga classes over the Christmas holidays.
YogaBugs has teamed up with Solihull Council to get funding from the Department for Education (DfE) to put on the online classes as part of the as which is backed by Manchester United footballer Marcus Rashford.
Lisa Applebee, managing director said: “It is fantastic that Solihull council have put funding into this and are we proud to be working with them to support children this winter.
“It’s been a tough two years for children and families due to Covid and lockdowns and it great to be able to offer this fantastic resource to families over the cold winter months, when they may not want to go out and will have less money due to Christmas.
“Also with the recent announcements regarding Covid rule changes, we are offering a Covid secure activity for families”.
