Dec. 8—The Clatsop Care Health District will begin providing in-house Certified Nursing Assistant training, starting on Monday. The health district will offer opportunities for Certified Nursing Assistant classes during the months when Clatsop Community College is not offering the program. Clatsop Care Health & Rehabilitation is offering up to 10 local applicants the opportunity to join the healthcare profession.
As part of the program, Clatsop Care Health District will provide comprehensive instruction and practical training, and cover the cost of all class materials, including required licensure fees. All those who successfully complete the course will be offered employment opportunities. Clatsop Care Health District currently supports employees in their professional development and degree pursuits through advancement training opportunities.
