Making DAVV their preference, more than 31,000 students have applied for common university entrance test (CUET) so far.
“As per information received from National Testing Agency, a total of 31,340 students, so far, have registered for CUET with an eye on the 18 programmes offered by DAVV,” said DAVV admission coordinator Prof Kanhiya Ahuja.
The 18 courses include all 17 two-year MBA programmes offered by DAVV. The registration figure will grow further as the last date to apply for CUET is July 10.
Take note: A total of 72,213 students had registered for CUET giving preference to after-school courses run by DAVV. If registrations of both are clubbed, the total number of students showing interest in DAVV courses has reached close to 1.05 lakh.
This is for the first time DAVV has seen such a huge figure of registration for its professional courses.
Last year, the registration was about 15,000.
