BISMARCK — North Dakotans will have access to more free technology courses, state officials announced this week.
North Dakota has expanded its partnership with the Cisco Networking Academy skills-to-job program called Skills for All.
North Dakota is the first state to offer the online courses to all residents for free, state officials said.
The courses are meant to provide a path to a tech career. They cover various topics, including cybersecurity, coding and networking.
The state already offers Cisco’s courses for free, but the expansion ups the number of courses offered from seven to about two dozen.
