ORLEANS – The Orleans Chamber of Commerce invites all Orleans residents and business owners to take part in its 2022 Annual Christmas Lighting and Decorating Contest. This year’s contest is open to all residential properties in Orleans located within a five-mile radius.
In addition, this year all Orleans merchants and business owners are also being invited to enter their decorated and lighted store windows for judging.
The deadline for all entries will be Dec. 9th and the contest will be judged on December 12th. Prizes will be awarded for the best overall decorating.
Nominations for the Christmas Lighting Contest may be mailed to the Orleans Chamber of Commerce, P.O. Box 9 or dropped off at Orleans Town Hall or via email at [email protected]. Those wishing to fax their entries may do so to 812-865-3413. Special entry forms will appear in The Orleans Progress Examiner.
All entries must include the owner’s name, address, telephone number, and detailed driving directions. For more information contact the Orleans Chamber office at 812-865-9930.
