A new strategic partnership between SumTotal Systems and Udemy Business aims to provide a more immersive learning experience and a streamlined purchasing process for customers.
Rich Walker, Chief Corporate Strategy and Development Officer and President, SumTotal, said, “It is the first partnership of its kind and allows our customers to have seamless access to Udemy content on our best-in-class platform. The SumTotal Marketplace provides a content-agnostic platform where organisations can easily access a growing and impressive roster of learning content in one place.”
SumTotal Learn, a Learning Management System (LMS), helps companies ensure workforces are compliant, have the skills needed to meet the demands of the market, and are upskilling to address future business needs.
The addition of Udemy Business content augments the existing content available on the SumTotal Marketplace and re-enforces SumTotal’s commitment to providing a world-class LMS to customers coupled with up-to-date learning content taught by real-world experts. Udemy Business and other providers’ content delivers increased value for organisations seeking to reskill and upskill talent to help overcome critical gaps.
Greg Brown, President, Udemy Business, explained, “Integrating our content with SumTotal enables us to make learning a more cohesive part of work for users across a variety of industries. By streamlining learning, employees can more easily make learning and development part of their everyday work. Ultimately, this means stronger outcomes for both employees and organisations.”
The ratio of job availability stood at 1.13 in 2021, indicating that there were 113 openings for every 100 jobseekers, down 0.05 points from 2020.
