To help Pakistan achieve their goal of winning the ICC T20 World Cup, he said that Afridi must be highly clinical. “Pakistan has very good fast bowlers. The bench is good, and the players need to be taken care of. Shaheen Shah Afridi will be very important for Pakistan in the T20 World Cup, and he must be fit for the event,” Gul was quoted by Cricket Pakistan.
The 39-year-old made additional comments regarding Shaheen’s absence and Pakistan’s inability to handle it. He believes Pakistan have a potent bowling attack. However, he feels at the same time, it is not a complete deal without Shaheen.
