The Adult Continuing Education programme at UCC has announced that it is offering Ukrainian students who have fled to Ireland from the war torn country a free three month course to welcome them to this country.
The course will run from April 19 until June 2 and will be delivered on the UCC campus and the only entry requirement is that students are 18 years of age. The course will be delivered every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday during the term.
The course is also being offered free of charge. Indeed UCC hopes to offer additional supports that students may need.
The course will include a focus on life in Ireland for a young adult, politics and society in Ireland, getting sorted in terms of communications and services as well as everyday conversational English.
