Looking to build your résumé with a prestigious name? It doesn't get better than Harvard University. The Ivy League institute has made 64 of its online courses free for you to take on.
There's a range of Harvard courses across topics—programming, finance, religion and archaeology, law, pharmaceuticals, art and design, literature, data science and so much more. The durations of the courses vary. Some are week-long, others take up to 15 weeks to complete. Some interesting ones include Introduction to Accounting and Financial Statements, Introduction to Data Wise, Hinduism Through its Scriptures and Lessons from Ebola: Preventing the Next Pandemic.
Students can pick from three difficulty levels: introductory, intermediate and advanced. Although the university specifies how long one should dedicate per week to the study, the learning is self-paced.
The courses are available on edX, a popular online learning platform and nonprofit founded by Harvard and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. On completion, students receive a “Verified Certificate”. Wouldn't that look good on your résumé or LinkedIn profile?
You can find the full list of Harvard's free courses here.
