Narazumono, 15 hours agoAm i seeing wrong or is that a notch? You are not wrong. The Ultra version is confirmed to have a notch.
Anonymous, 15 hours agoMicroSD can be easily lost as it’s tiny and just waste internal component space of the phone. … moreLol please, easily lost? I never lost mine since day one. It only stays on the phone or tablet. As for the external drive, it doesn't guarantee to work better as not all phones and tablets support USB OTG. You have to use a USB-C adapter and it's even easier to lose than the microSD card since it's not on the phone or tablet all the time.

Even the kernel itself has been greatly modified. That is why Android is not qualified to be called Linux despite using the kernel in the first place*. Even Google themselves admitted it**.

Why is the header "Storage/RAM" but the data shown below is RAM/Storage? No editor gone through before publishing?
Anonymous, 13 hours agoYou can add at LEAST another $1000 to that price, MINIMUMYep. Has to be around that figure. Anything less than $2000 I'd be surprised
GG Samsung, $100 Chinese phones offer that low of ram on their phones yet you still do circa 2022. The king of Hardware and all that, lol. At least you offer otherwise decent a tablets , nobody else does these days (Apple wasted all their enrger on an Uber SoC that goes wasted and the rest don't even try; **still** the best form factor though)…
wes, 21 hours agomicro sd? are you still living in 2009 kekI'm using on a daily basis several MicroSD as a USB Drive from 256 to 512 Go mainly, so no, not reallu in 2009 when write speed were 10 Mo/s tops. Now it's 100Mo/s, still not as good as NVMe and so on but fairly decent for a whole variety of usage, including recording 4K videos. Good luck empying space to make a 8K super high res clip that will fill your memory at 1-2 GB per minute!
At least they kept the price in line to the last ones. When they drop to 500 or so they'd be worth picking up, only if you need them for work and can't deal with ipad limitations of course.
This year there will be some badass 2 in 1 laptops as well if portability is not paramount, but probably on the tail end of the year.
AngryLithuanian, 13 hours agoHere we go, somebody likes logic. Seriously overpriced tablets.Given the inflationary environment we live they are decently price
The priciest one (I assume 512-12GB ram, ultra edition ) will cost around 1300 Euro, which in pre pandemic/inflation price is equivalent o around 1000 Eur, which is a good deal for the amount of hardware.
Since I run them as laptops (via chroot Linux Desktop environment) , 1000 Eur for top end hardware like that is a great deal (15 inch AMOLED + 12GB DDR5 + i9 equivalent performance).
YUKI93, 22 hours ago$1,400 for the most expensive model? No thanks, I'd buy a Windows 2-in-1 laptop or tablet… moreAndroid *is* Linux kernel. Plenty of chroot or similar options to actually run Linux Desktop environment on an Android tablet. I do so from 2013 already. So yeah, if you are a Windows fun go with the Windows 2in1. I am not so I go with android tabs. Besides their hardware is better (x86 is long overdue for retirement)…

Also, 1.1kg for a 13" device is considered light, especially when that device has a laptop cpu, gpu and massive cooling in it.
Alex Christine, 21 hours agoReally tho, I would add some more money to buy the Surface Pro 8 with its accessories instead. Here we go, somebody likes logic. Seriously overpriced tablets.
MicroSD card is essential in the tablet, unless they give us 512GB of memory as base model for cheap. I have 512GB sdcard and my table has everything there, new movies to watch, downloaded online courses, downloaded Youtube videos to watch later, like 60% of space taken
Anonymous, 17 hours agoAsus ROG tablet isn't really a tablet as it weighs 2x more (1.1kg) than a S7+ I don'… moreThe ROG tablet’s RTX3050 is also severely handicapped as it’s a Max-Q design with much lower speeds and only 4GB VRAM. I think the performance is only equivalent to a desktop GTX 1650Ti and let’s not forget the thermals.

Anonymous, 17 hours agoAsus ROG tablet isn't really a tablet as it weighs 2x more (1.1kg) than a S7+ I don'… moreThe ROG Flow is slightly heavier than a Surface Pro 8. I have no issues using mine as a tablet so I'm pretty certain weight will not be a deal breaker.
That said, there is a reason Windows Tablets have an integrated kickstand while regular Android and Apple tablets don't. x86 vs ARM.

It could be 256 GB in the future, but for many phones 128 GB is already the base so by the time I want 256 GB, many phones could already have 512 GB base storage.
