The essential educational criteria are different for multiple categories such as Assistant Manager, Sericulture Inspector, Assistant Manager(Mechanical) etc. Furthermore, different qualifications are required such as 10th,12th, B.A, B.Com, B.E, B.Sc, B. In addition to this, the candidate is required to have completed their 10th and 12th from school in the HP state only.
The age criteria are also one of the criteria that should be fulfilled. Therefore, the candidates are advised to read the criteria thoroughly. For all the posts except SI of police, the minimum age limit of the applicant should be 18 and the maximum age limit of the candidate should not be more than 45 years of age as of the 1st of January,2022. Additionally, the category candidates coming from SC, ST, OBC, PwD or wards of freedom fighters of Himachal Pradesh will get an age relaxation of 5 years in the upper limit. The Ex-servicemen will get age relaxation according to the provision of the Himachal Pradesh government. For the Sub Inspector of police, the age criteria are 21 to 26 years.
