This week saw over 200 local children attend the Millwall Community Trust's free multi-sports and football courses.
Hot meals and healthy snacks were provided free for the children of Lewisham and Southwark over the three day course, to help them power through their day of sporty activities.
Run over the Christmas holidays, the course allows children to learn new sports and eat healthy meals. From football to tennis, the course also enables new friendships to be made as the children interact with one another.
As well as the hot and tasty meals provided by the Legendary Community Club, a food provision & activist group supporting young people in Lewisham, the support for those in attendance doesn’t end there.
Free ingredient boxes are provided for the children to take home, encouraging them to try some home cooking of their own with their families.
