Those interested to enroll can visit https://e-tesda.gov.ph/ and sign up through the Tesda Online Program (TOP).
Through TOP, Tesda provides an effective and efficient way to receive technical-vocational education and training at the learners' own space and time with its Massive Open Online Courses.
Last year, health-related courses were the most popular in the TOP. Nearly 400,000 enrolled in the Human Health or Health Care Sector, while the Practicing Covid-19 Preventive Measures in the Workplace had 369,650 enrollees.
Tesda chief Isidro Lapeña renewed his call to local government units and the private sector to avail of the free contact tracing program and to tap its graduates to serve in their communities.
“Engaging the services of more Tesda-contact tracers at the community level will help prevent the further spread of Covid-19,” Lapeña added.
More than 11,000 trainees have so far finished the Contact Tracing Level 2 Program (CTTP) — with 1,689 graduates in 2020 and 9,367 in 2021.
Lapeña assured that the program was developed with the help of the Department of Health's Health Human Resources Development Bureau and health industry experts. The program runs for 15 days where learners utilize a blended learning modality.
Scholars of the CTTP were given a training allowance of P2,400, insurance coverage, and an additional allowance for internet expenses and PPEs.
