About
Are you an educator looking for training opportunities for the summer? Don’t Waste It! workshops are for both formal and non-formal educators with lessons for pre-K to 12th graders that can easily be adapted for adult audiences. Each lesson includes a group activity, independent practice, extensions, and additional activities keyed to Florida educational standards. Build your solid waste and recycling content knowledge, get hands-on with the lessons, and receive a copy of Don’t Waste It! upon completing one of the workshops! There is also an additional opportunity to tour the new Keep Brevard Beautiful Organics Composting Facility or the Waste Management Materials Recovery Facility.
Workshop Goals:
There are two available dates: Tuesday, June 14, or Thursday, June 23. Both are from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
There are only 24 slots, so register early for one of the workshops to reserve your space. Register for this training on Eventbrite.
