The University of Arizona will offer free courses to Kenyans who will attend the Jamhuri Day celebrations at Nyayo Stadium, President William Ruto has announced.
The president is presiding over this year's Jamhuri Day fete which is tech-themed and dedicated to promoting technological innovations and the abilities of Kenyans in the field.
Going by Ruto's announcement on Sunday, December 11, every Kenyan citizen attending the celebrations will get a free 16-unit course that would cost KSh 100,000 if they were to pay.

The course would be offered by the Thunderbird School of Global Management at Arizona State University.
To access the scholarship, Ruto asked the attendees to scan the QR codes near them.
