A brief description
This course is designed to provide a charity management with appropriate human resources tools, practices, and procedures. The student will develop human resources tools for each level of an employee’s life cycle, including recruiting, onboarding, training, employee reviews, disciplinary action, and employee separation. The course focuses on designing aspects of the final product, which is a toolkit and textbook for charity administrators to supervise their workers.
This course is tailored to support organisations with educating new managers in best practices so that HR does not face any legal problems.
Andrew Sears is the President of City Vision University, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing dramatically quality schooling to those who work with the vulnerable, addicted, and underserved. Andrew previously co-founded MIT’s Internet Telephony Consortium with one of the internet’s founding fathers (David Clark), which focused on telecommunications market disruption. Andrew worked as a consultant to Sprint, venture capitalists, and internet entrepreneurs before spending the past 20 years working with and helping the marginalized with innovative educational technologies.
